Praxis is looking for a Project Manager to function as a local manager for our offshore R&D operations. You will be responsible for helping the team deliver by facilitating process & meetings, creating and executing plans, measuring and ensuring quality and effectiveness of the overall team and their deliverables.
You will be responsible for reflecting accurate and transparent status to stakeholders in theorganization and working with them to improve processes and make necessary changes to attain those goals.
4 Years of experience in Project/Program management in Software development environments.
Technical Experience – Ability to understand and talk to developers and translate technical requirements to non-technical (business) requirements and vice versa.
Good familiarity with Agile and or Scrum methodologies, certified Scrum master or equivalent is an advantage.
Proven people management experience.
PMP / Prince2 Certification or equivalent is an advantage.
English at a high proficiency level.
Roles & Responsibilities

Risk Management – You will identify potential risks, flag them for the stakeholders and plan mitigations, apply them when the need arises.
Responsible for helping the team deliver work to the Product Owner.
Facilitates process & meetings (eg Reviews, Stand Ups, Planning, Estimation, Scheduling, Prioritization)
Ensures that the team is fully functional, productive and improving their quality.
Enables close cooperation across all roles and functions, removes barriers.
Responsible for reporting progress, including producing standard outward-facing artefacts.
Responsible for keeping time and quality requirements; in other words, making sure the time requirements and quality requirements are spelled out by the product owner.
Effectively apply, provide guidance on and enforce project standards.
Identify resources needed to complete a project. Negotiate assignments with Team Leaders and other functional managers.
Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
Provide statistical or detailed information for management to assess project performance.
