Praxis is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic Data Analytics team. You will be responsible for helping the team deliver by designing and maintaining state-of-the-art, real-time and dynamic data infrastructure. You will be responsible for reflecting accurate and transparent status to stakeholders in the organization and working with them to improve processes and make necessary changes to attain those goals.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Assembling large, complex sets of data that meet non-functional and functional business requirements.
Identifying, designing, and implementing internal process improvements including re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes
Building required infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various data sources using various technologies SQL technologies
Building analytical tools to utilize the data pipeline, providing actionable insight into key business performance metrics including operational efficiency and customer acquisition.
Working with stakeholders including data, design, product, and executive teams and assisting them with data-related technical issues
Working with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data, and Design teams to support their data infrastructure needs while assisting with data-related technical issues.
Experience with Apache’s druid, Nifi, Superset, and Kafka will be an advantage.
At least, a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, or anything similar.
At least 5 Years of experience in Data Engineering or a similar Role.
Ability to understand and talk to business users, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders and translate business requirements to technical requirements and vice versa.
Good familiarity with Agile and or Scrum methodologies,
English at a high proficiency level.
Data engineering or related certification will be considered an advantage.
